56 teams for Malake 7s in Ra next month

56 teams are expected to compete in the Fiji Bitter Malake 7s tournament that will be held next month.

This is the first of the twelve competitions sponsored by Paradise Beverages Fiji Limited in 2022.

32 teams will compete in the Men's category, 8 teams in the Women's category and 16 teams will compete in the Under 21 category.

The winner of the men’s competition will walk away with $5,000 while the women’s and the Under 21 category will win $1,000 each.

The tournament will also include netball and volleyball competitions.

The Malake 7s tournament will be held from the 20th to the 22nd of next month at the Ra Sports Ground in Rakiraki.
