53-year-old Chand appeals for support to undergo life-saving heart surgery

53-year-old Harish Chand of Nukuloa, Ba is urgently appealing for financial assistance as he battles a severe heart condition.

While speaking to fijivillage News, Chand says he is diagnosed with a valve disorder and requires open-heart surgery in India, which costs about $40,000.

He says it is a sum beyond his family’s financial means.

Chand is reaching out to family, friends and the wider community, hoping for support in his time of need.

He says any contribution, big or small, will help him move closer to the treatment.

Chand and his family say they express heartfelt gratitude to all who offer their support during this difficult time.
