53 gold medals at stake in second day of the Ba Athletics Zone

53 gold medals will be up for grabs on the second day of the Coca Cola Ba Athletics Zone at Churchill Park today.

Xavier College is currently leading the boys and girls divisions.

In the boys division, Xavier College is first with 11 gold, 9 silver, and 10 bronze, AD Patel College is second with 5 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze while Kamil Muslim College is third with 2 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze.

In the girls division, Xavier College is leading with 12 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze, Ba Methodist High School is second with 3 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze while Kamil Muslim College is third with 3 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze.

Well known athlete from Ba, John Aryan Raju of Xavier College who won gold in the intermediate boys 1,500 metres event yesterday will be running in the open boys 3,000 metres and intermediate boys 4 x 400m event.

Meanwhile, the Coca Cola Nadroga/Navosa Zone will start this morning at Lawaqa Park.
