521 families in home isolation will receive food and essential item packs from this morning

521 families who are currently under home isolation in Nadi will start receiving 629 food and essential item packs by the government from this morning.

This includes 318 families in Tramline, 108 families in Qina Settlement and 95 families in Nawajikuma in Nawaka.

More than 2,950 packs have been distributed by government in these areas so far.

The second round of distribution for 377 families living in Qauia Settlement will also start today.

Meanwhile, 206 packs were distributed to families living in home isolation in Lami, Suva, Nasinu and Nausori yesterday.

This includes families living in Toga, Verata, Wainibokasi, Colo-i-Suva, Sawani, Waila, Davuilevu, Koronivia, Nadawa, Nadera, Narere, Nakasi, Wainibuku, Makoi, Muanikoso, Kinoya, Laucala Beach, Cunningham, Khalsa, Caubati, Tacirua, Nabua, Vatuwaqa, Wailoku, Tamavua, Samabula, Raiwaqa and Lami.

23 packs were distributed to families in home isolation in Lautoka which includes Drasa, Field 40, FSC Compound, Kashmir Housing, Lovu, Naikabula, Saru, Natabua, Tavakubu, Tomuka and Vitogo.

Around 9,838 food and essential item packs have been distributed to families in targeted lockdown areas and home isolation so far.
