52-year-old, Asha Narayan of Votualevu, Nadi has won the Navtarang Diwali Crack-Up Competition with Rups Big Bear.

Narayan has won $500 worth of firecrackers voucher.

The Nadi resident says as we celebrate Diwali during COVID-19, people should work together, support each other and help the poor.

Listeners had to call and make sounds of firecrackers and their names were put in the draw.

Narayan says this is the first time she has won a prize with Navtarang in a Diwali competition.

Narayan says her Diwali will not be the same as every year as her father-in-law has passed away in New Zealand.

Meanwhile, 34-year-old Shasiya Aleem from Labasa has won $200 worth of firecrackers voucher through the competition with Viti FM.
