50-year-old man to front court for allegedly indecently assaulting 8-year-old girl

A 50-year-old man charged with allegedly indecently assaulting an 8-year-old girl will appear in the Nasinu Magistrates Court this afternoon.

Police say the man and the girl are related.

The man had allegedly indecently assaulted the victim inside her home on Monday and warned her not to tell anyone about the incident.

The girl later relayed the incident to a neighbour who then reported the matter to Police.

He is charged with one count of indecent assault.
