5 out of 16 curfew arrests related to alcohol

Five of the sixteen arrests made in the last 24 hours for breaching curfew were alcohol-related.

The Western Division recorded eight cases, seven were in the South and the Northern Division recorded one case.

The arrests recorded in the Western Division were made in Namaka, Tavua, Sabeto, Keiyasi and Rakiraki.

The cases recorded in the Southern Division were made in Nasinu, Samabula and Raiwaqa.

One person was arrested in Labasa.
