5 Masked men rob BSP
The hunt is continuing for the five masked and armed men who robbed the Bank of the South Pacific, Samabula Branch at around 1.30pm today.

According to police, the five masked men smashed the wooden wall beside the ATM on the Rewa Street side.

An eye witness said that a liteace van reversed three times into the wooden wall and the impact then made an entry point into the BSP bank.

Police say the men entered the bank, armed with cane knives, pinch bars, beer bottles.

No injuries were reported on the scene.

The same van that was used to make an entry point, was used as the getaway vehicle that was recovered later at Toorak.

Police at this point in time cannot confirm what was stolen however according to eye witness accounts, two silver cases were in possession of the escaping men.

A footpath vendor and an eye witness Adi Yaqa Delana told Fijivillage that she was really scared.
