A 43-year-old mother will be performing solo items in the Navtarang and Radio Sargam Diwali Dhamaka Stage Show at Rups Mega Complex in Nakasi this Sunday.
Sangeeta Govind is part of the Jokerz Dance Group from Nasinu which was established a year ago.
The Director of the Group, Sonal Govind says his mother, partner, and brother are part of the group and their youngest performer is is a Year 7 student.
Govind says this is the first time the group will be performing in such a big event.
He says they will be performing dance items, solo items, and magic shows.
The show will be from 10am to 8pm.
Meanwhile, Radio Sargam and Navtarang have also organised many on-air competitions such as Rangoli Sajawat Competition, Diwali Rang De Mehendi, Diwali Sweets and Savouries, Diwali Songs and Greetings, Diwali Trivia, Diwali Dress Up and Diwali Crackup Competition.
