Four people collecting signatures for the proposed political party of former Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka at the TC Yasa Appeal Concert at Ratu Sukuna Park today were taken in for questioning by Police.

Police Spokesperson Savaira Tabua says the people were warned not to collect signatures after a report was lodged against them.

She says they were questioned and released.

Tabua stresses this does not mean that people will be stopped from collecting signatures.

She says the people collecting signatures today at Ratu Sukuna Park were told to leave for the security of others who were part of the charity event.

Rabuka has been collecting signatures for his proposed political party in parts of the country.

He was at the Nadi Market recently.
