4 Fijian players up for top 7s awards

Napolioni Bolaca, Alowesi Nakoci, Jiuta Wainiqolo and Reapi Uluinasau.

4 Fijian players are up for the World Rugby Men's and Women’s 7s Player of the Year Award which will be announced this week.

Olympic gold medallists Napolioni Bolaca and Jiuta Wainiqolo will be hoping to become the third Fijian player to win the award.

They will be up against New Zealand's Scott Curry and Marcos Moneta of Argentina.

Samisoni Viriviri and Jerry Tuwai have won the award previously.

Fijiana 7s players Alowesi Nakoci and Reapi Uluinasau who won bronze in Tokyo will be up against New Zealand’s Sarah Hirini and France’s Anne-Cecile Ciofani.
