Three people remain admitted in the hospital following the fatal road accident near Namau along the Nabouwalu Highway around 6 o'clock last night.
A 23-year-old tertiary school student died in this road accident.
She was a passenger with two others in a vehicle driven by her mother.
According to Police, they were heading towards the Nabouwalu Jetty when the mother allegedly lost control of the vehicle causing it to veer off the road and tumble several times.
Police say they were all rushed to the Nabouwalu Hospital where the woman was pronounced dead on arrival.
The national road death toll currently stands at 36 compared to 55 for the same period last year.
