3 players suspended after testing positive for drugs during BiC Fiji FACT

Three players who tested positive following a drug test during the BiC Fiji FACT have been stood down from the competition and indefinitely suspended from all levels of football.

This has been confirmed by Fiji Football Association says marijuana was found in their system.

They say a player tested positive on Day 1, 2 on Day 2 while none tested positive yesterday.

The Association says 72 tests were conducted throughout the three days.

Fiji FA confirms they have been charged to appear before the Fiji FA Disciplinary Committee which will be scheduled after the Fiji FACT.

Meanwhile, in the semi finals on Saturday, defending champion Paradise Seafood Supplies Lautoka, will face Extra Supermarket Labasa at 2pm while Stratum Construction Suva will take on Ajay Trading Rewa at 4.30pm.

The final is at 3pm on Sunday.
