Three men who allegedly stole from two fishing vessels in Suva last week will appear in a special court sitting in the Suva Magistrates Court today.

Police say the three men allegedly boarded the two vessels that were berthed at Millers Wharf on Monday and stole assorted items and frozen fish worth about $7,000.

They were allegedly seen leaving the scene in a fibre-glass boat which was later found by Water Police officers abandoned at the Lami foreshore.

Police say the three aged 34, 35 and 49 years have been jointly charged with one count of aggravated burglary.
