27 students from Corpus Christi College graduated with a diploma in primary school education while two students graduated with a diploma in early childhood education today.

Chief Guest and main celebrant of the mass Vicar General Reverend Sulio Turagakacivi handed over the certificates to the 29 graduates at their Nasese Campus.

Nikolau Ravai the student council leader and one of the graduates says he was feeling a bit of mixed emotions today knowing that three years of sacrifice and hard work s finally paid off.

He says they began the journey with 45 students enrolling in their first year and only 29 students graduated today and he is ready to execute the things he has learned in the workforce.

Ravai says this is not a vocation but it is a calling to be in this noble profession.

Acting Principal Makelesi Vinau says these students are following the standards and benchmark set by previous students, who are excelling in the workforce especially those who are posted in the maritime and urban areas in Fiji.

She says it is a great day for the students and the parents as they embark on their new journey in the teaching profession.
