A 27-year-old man is in Police custody while a search is underway for his accomplice for their alleged involvement in an aggravated robbery in Savusavu on Friday night.
Police say the two allegedly forced their way into the home of an elderly couple and stole cash and a mobile phone.
A special team was formed following the incident, leading to the arrest of the 27-year-old man, who is currently being questioned at the Savusavu Police Station.
Police say they are aware of the identity of the second suspect and are trying to locate him.
Investigations are still underway.
