23 cases were recorded in the last 48-hours for breach of curfew including three men who were arrested in Raiwaqa for throwing beer bottles at a Police vehicle and officers.

Acting Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu says from Saturday 11 pm till 4 am yesterday morning, the Southern Division recorded 13 cases whereby 12 people were found drunk while a 48-year-old man was found loitering along Ratu Mara Road in Nabua.

Tudravu says in the last 24-hours, a lone case was recorded in Southern Division.

He adds the Western Division recorded 3 cases in the last 48 hours whereby all were found drunk including a 48-year-old man who was also involved in an attempted break-in at Tavua.

Tudravu also says in the Eastern Division, six people were arrested in the last 48 hours and all were found drunk including three men in their 20’s from the nearby villages who were found loitering and drunk on the Rewa Bridge.
