23 drivers arrested for drinking and driving on Christmas Day

23 drivers continue to put people’s lives at risk as they were arrested on Christmas Day for drunk driving.

Police say 19 of these drivers were arrested around the Suva corridor, where 171 Random Breath Tests (RBT) were conducted.

Police also highlighted that four drivers were arrested yesterday in Nadi for drinking and driving.

They say they will continue to increase their presence on the roads to ensure that it is safe for everyone enjoying Boxing Day.
