220,437 people receive their first doses of AstraZeneca while 4,773 have received their second doses – Dr Devi

220,437 people in the country have received their first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, AstraZeneca while 4,773 have received their second doses.

While speaking on our Straight Talk program on COVID-19, Head of the Vaccination Taskforce at the Health Ministry, Doctor Rachel Devi says they continue to take the vaccines to the people in different areas and they will cover more areas this week.

She says vaccine teams in Nadi and Suva have been cleared and they will also continue with the vaccination rollout soon.

Doctor Devi says you can contact the Health Ministry if you have any queries on the vaccine.
