22 schools from around the Central Division were part of the Get Into Rugby Plus Festival organised by the Fiji Rugby Union in collaboration with AusSport which also launched the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence event.

The event involved schools from around the Suva, Nasinu, Nausori, Rewa and Naitasiri Districts.

The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence event is a key international moment to call for an end to violence against women and girls which runs from today until 10th December, Human Rights Day.

Assistant Australian High Commissioner to Fiji, Clair McNamara told the children that when they are playing they should think of how they are treating their team mates, family and others.
