Isaac Mousio of Suva Grammar School won gold in the sub-junior boys discus event.
He says he wanted to make his coach and mum proud.
Mousio also says the training leading up to the Coke Games was hard but he knew it would pay off some day.
He threw a distance of 37.21 metres.
David Savea of Rotuma High School won silver while Aaron Fotofili of Marist settled for bronze.
