Children from St. Christopher's Home cut the ribbon to open the new CK’s Mega Bargain outlet at Rups Mega Complex in Nakasi

The ribbon cutting ceremony of the new CK’s Mega Bargain was conducted by nine vaccinated children from St. Christopher's Home and were given the opportunity to do free shopping from the new outlet.

Owner, Jitesh Patel says 20 new jobs have been created with the opening of the new CK’s Mega Bargain outlet at Rups Mega Complex in Nakasi today.

He adds the first CK’s outlet was opened 50 years ago and there are a total of five outlets located in Suva and Nakasi.

Patel says their outlets had been closed for 4 months due to the impacts of COVID-19 and they faced some challenges in opening the new outlet in terms of transportation of goods from overseas on time.

He adds they employ a total of 85 staff in their five outlets and considering the increase in customer numbers, this will provide more job opportunities.

Patel says they have received good response from customers in Nakasi.
