A 49-year-old man has been arrested after Police Officers discovered five green plants believed to be marijuana in his farm in Nabouwalu, Bua yesterday.
While confirming this with fijivillage News Acting Divisional Police Commander North, Superintendent of Police Eroni Soqosoqo says that in a separate incident, a 27-year-old man was taken into custody from his Nabouwalu home last night after being found in possession of apparatus.
He says raids were conducted following a tip.
Soqosoqo says the seized items have been sent for analysis.
The Divisional Commander has expressed his gratitude to the community for their continued cooperation in supporting police operations throughout the year.
