Two people believed to be involved in the death of doctor and prominent social media personality, Dr Isireli Biumaitotoya, also known as Leighley Leli Darling, have been arrested and are currently in custody at the Criminal Investigations Department Headquarters in Suva.
Police say the two were arrested in Nausori yesterday by the joint investigation taskforce consisting of officers from the CID Headquarters Division and Namaka, with the assistance of officers based in the Eastern Division.
Leli Darling was found dead in a pool of blood in his home in Votualevu, Nadi, on Monday night and the death is being treated as an alleged murder.
Investigations continue.
