2 Solar Home projects in the Ra Province have been completed

Two Solar Home Systems Electrification projects worth close to $180,000 in Namara and Nukulau village in the Ra Province have been completed.

Villagers of the upper hills of Ra were overjoyed when Assistant Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Vijay Nath officially opened the two projects.

These two projects are fully funded by the government where the Namara village solar home systems electrification project is worth $112,000 and Nukulau village project is worth $64,000.

A total of 44 families in the two villages are now being provided safe and stable energy supply.
