19,007 students for Year 8 to sit for Fiji Year 8 Certificate Examination today

19,007 students across Fiji will begin the Fiji Year 8 Certificate Examination from today.

The Ministry of Education stated that there will be 717 centres.

They say last year 18,973 students sat for the exam, with a pass rate of 69 percent.

Students will be sitting for their English paper this morning followed by Healthy Living after lunch today.
