The UK Foreign Office has called on Russia to "stop this senseless killing" after strikes on Kyiv kill at least 19 people, including four children.
It comes after the department summoned Russia's UK ambassador over the attacks, which injured dozens and damaged British Council and EU mission buildings
Meanwhile, Ukraine's President Zelensky accuses Moscow of choosing "ballistics instead of the negotiating table", while the White House says Russia's strikes "threaten" President Trump's attempts at a peace deal.
Amidst these developments, a Kyiv resident who saw the explosions from her home told the BBC that they are scared, but do not want to leave.
UN Secretary-General António Guterres says Russia's strikes on Ukrainian cities overnight are "unacceptable" and must end immediately.
Guterres, through a spokesman, says attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure violate international humanitarian law.
The spokesman further adds that the Secretary-General renews his call for a ceasefire that results in a just, comprehensive, and sustainable peace in Ukraine.
Nato Chief Mark Rutte has also condemned Russia's "terrible attacks".
He says on social media that they need to ensure Ukraine has what it needs to defend itself and secure a lasting peace.
