18,554 children between the ages of 12 and 14 have so far received the first dose of the COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine.

27,161 children between the ages of 15 and 17 are now fully vaccinated while 35,352 children have received the first dose.

Permanent Secretary for Health, Dr. James Fong says 90.9% of the target population are now fully vaccinated while 97.4% have received at least one dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

Meanwhile, two new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the 24 hour period which ended at 8am yesterday.

There are currently 122 active cases in Fiji.
