18-year-old student remanded for alleged murder, case transferred to High Court

The 18-year-old high school student who allegedly caused the death of a man in his 20s at an apartment complex in Suva earlier this week has been remanded in custody by the Suva Magistrates Court.

Rihaal Kumar has been charged with one count of murder.

The case will now be heard in the High Court.

The matter has been adjourned to the 18th of July.

The man was stabbed at an apartment along Waimanu Road.
