An 18-year-old man has been charged for allegedly breaking into a home on Namena Road in Raiwasa.

Police say quick action and thorough investigations by officers in the Southern Division led to the arrest of the 18-year-old suspect, who has now been charged with one count of aggravated burglary.

He is expected to appear in the Suva Magistrates Court today, while police continue their search for the second suspect.

In another case, two men have been charged and appeared in court in connection with an aggravated robbery that occurred on the 31st of May along Grantham Road.

Police say the two allegedly assaulted a 24-year-old woman and stole her phone and headset.

They say investigators managed to recover both items, and the suspects were arrested and charged.

They were produced in the Suva Magistrates Court yesterday.
