18-year-old Salanieta Viriviri, who was earlier reported missing, had gone to visit her relatives in Lautoka without informing anyone.

Police have confirmed this to fijivillage News after investigating where and who Viriviri was with during the period she went missing.

Viriviri was reported missing at the Nadi Police Station last week after she was last seen leaving her home and had made no contact with her family.

Police say they have been investigating the disappearance of 13-year-old Ashwariya Roselyn Kumar to ensure that she was not in any danger.

The outcome of the investigation for Kumar's disappearance has not been disclosed to fijivillage News yet.
