18-year-old Shaw wins bronze in the 81kg Junior Category

18-year-old Daniel Shaw, has won a bronze medal in the Men's 81kg Junior Category at the 2024 Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships at the Vodafone Arena.

Shaw lifted 115kg in the snatch and 145kg in the clean and jerk for a total of 261kg.

Meanwhile,Babu Ajaya Valluri has won gold and Ben Stockheim has walked away with the silver.

250 athletes from 25 countries are taking part in the Championship which ends this Saturday.
