18 water projects with treatments systems and sanitation units to be built by Rotary Pacific in Namosi, Cakaudrove and Ra Provinces

The Rotary Pacific Water for Life Foundation has a target of 18 water project with treatments systems and sanitation units in the Namosi, Cakaudrove and Ra Provinces with a budget of $1.3 million.

Chairman Nalin Patel stated this at the Dialogue on Climate Change and Water Security at Holiday Inn adding these includes 15 communities and 3 schools.

Patel says in Cakaudrove they will be working with Suweni Village, Lekutulevu Village, Yasawa Rua Village, Dawara Village and Dawara Primary School.

He says in the Namosi Province they have earmarked Wainimakutu Village, Wainimakutu Primary School, Wainimakutu High School, Wainiyavu Primary School, Wainiyavu High School, Navunikabi Village and Navunikabi Primary School.

In the Ra Province, Madhuvani Settlement, Madhuvani Sangam School, Malele 3 settlement, Vunisea Village, Navitilevu Primary School and Ra Provincial Council Compound have been identified by his team. Patel says they are also doing Sanitation Projects with black water treatment systems for Cakaudrove in Suweni Village and Lekutulevu Village while in Namosi, they will be at Navunikabi Primary School.
