18 Police officers allegedly involved in the death of Richard Mock are still on duty and Police are still investigating the case.

This has been highlighted by the Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu.

Tudravu says if there is evidence that they are implicated, they will take them to court.

He says he can assure the members of the public that they are not hiding anything.

It is alleged Mock died in Police custody and allegations surfaced that officers dumped his body at a vacant lot in Nasau Nadi in February, this year.

Tudravu says they sympathize with Mock’s family and assure them of the conduct of a transparent investigation where due process will be followed with independent legal advice sought from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The Commissioner of Police is again calling on members of the public to trust the process of investigations.
