18 men’s team confirmed for Wairiki 7s

18 men’s team have confirmed their participation in the Fiji Bitter Wairiki 7s that will be held from the 17th to the 20th of this month.

While speaking to fijivillage news,Wairiki 7s tournament director,Iowane Gade says teams like Police White, Police Blue and Army have confirmed their spot.

Gade says for the U21 14 teams have confirmed their spot as well, for women's rugby 4 teams have also confirmed their participation and for volleyball 6 teams confirmed their seats while for netball 2 teams have registered as well.

He says this year will be the first time to have a soccer tournament as well as to be part of the tournament and it will be an open grade.

He adds the Wairiki 7s will begin on the 17th and end on the 20th of this month, while the soccer match will be on the 15th to the 16th at the Wairiki ground in Taveuni.

Meanwhile, the entry fee will be $5 for adults and $3 for children from Monday to Friday but on Saturday it will be $7 for adults and $3 for children.
