Supervisor of Elections, Mohammend Saneem says 16,474 new voters have registered so far during the Nationwide Voter Registration Drive.

He says they have assisted 163,169 voters during the drive.

Saneem further says the last day to get the new blue voter card during the drive is 14th of April however you can still get the new blue voter card from FEO offices in major towns and cities until the writ of elections is issued.

The locations of the offices are listed on the FEO website.

Saneem says about 60% of the voters had upgraded their cards before the drive began over a month ago and that number has gone up.

He says they have already visited over 200 settlements, 1,123 villages and surveyed 193 polling venues.

Saneem further says in the next 6 days, they will be in towns, settlements and urban centres around the country to conduct voter registration and provide other voter services.

You can get details of the locations on FEO’s Facebook page.
