14 schools are set to battle for glory this week in the Venu Haulage Shipping Limited and Outback Range Pte Ltd Secondary Schools’ Hockey National Tournament Finals 2025.

The 4-day tournament kicks off on Wednesday at Nasau Park in Levuka, featuring the U16 Boys and Girls, and U19 Boys and Girls competitions.

Schools will compete for the U16 Boys Noal Cup, U16 Girls Melaia Sandys Cup, U19 Girls Westmere Cup, and U19 Boys Bhasin Cup, along with the John May Cup and Sophia Raddock Cup in the Inter-district Tournament.

Fiji Secondary School Hockey Association President Immanuel Prasad thanked the sponsors for their support and said it’s exciting to see schools like Delana Methodist, Ballantine Memorial, Central College, and Suva Muslim return, with Sila Central High School and Dilkusha Methodist High School making their debut.

Venu Haulage Shipping Limited and Outback Range Pte Ltd General Manager, Venu Naidu says they believe in supporting initiatives that build character, discipline, and teamwork among young people.

He says partnering with the Fiji Secondary School Hockey Association aligns perfectly with their values and commitment to nation-building.

The Association invites the public, alumni, parents, and supporters to be part of this vibrant event and witness the spirit of sportsmanship in one of Fiji’s most historic locations.
