13,029 groceries and essential items packs distributed by government so far

414 household packs were distributed by the government to families in home isolation and lockdown areas yesterday.

79 packs were delivered to families in home isolation in areas in Lami, Suva, Nasinu and Nausori, 50 packs were distributed to areas in Lautoka, 50 packs were given to Police officers who are in home isolation while 250 packs went to families in the Qauia lockdown area.

The government says to date, around 3,161 packs have been delivered to families in home isolation in the Lami, Suva, Nasinu and Nausori areas.

1,642 packs have been delivered so far by the government to families in the Qauia lockdown area, 245 packs to families in the Lautoka and Ba areas and 121 packs have been distributed to Police Officers who are currently in isolation at home or in the Police Barracks.

The government says until now, around 13,029 groceries and essential items packs including 4,206 new household packs have been distributed to those in targeted lockdown and home isolation.
