261 Public Health Infringement Notices have been issued from the 6th to the 12th of October with failing to wear a face mask registering 122 reports.

Police say failure to wear a mask in a public service vehicle recorded 37 bookings, while other bookings were for breach of curfew and 19 bookings for contact sports were recorded on the 7th of October.

Police are reminding people to comply with COVID-safe measures for the sake of their family and loved ones.

They add we should be focused on our adherence to rules that remain in place and not exploiting those that are being relaxed.
