Fiji’s road construction and maintenance capabilities are set to receive a major boost, with Cabinet endorsing a grant aid arrangement with the Government of Japan for the procurement of heavy machinery.
Under the agreement, Japan will provide approximately $12.6 million, to equip the Ministry of Public Works with essential machinery for road projects across the country.
