10,000 swabs and viral transport equipment donated to Ministry of Health by Aus, NZ, WHO and UNICEF Pacific

More help has been provided to assist Fiji in its fight against COVID-19.

The Australian High Commission in Fiji joined the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, World Health Organisation and UNICEF Pacific in handing over 10,000 swabs and viral transport equipment to the Ministry of Health.

Head of Health Protection, Dr. Aalisha Sahukhan received the donation.

The Australian High Commission in Fiji says these high-quality swabs are an essential component of containing the spread of COVID-19 by allowing medical teams to collect samples in a timely manner.
