10 year old Pratap wins the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest

10-year-old Reshav Pratap has won the 2022, 15th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest in Suva

10-year-old Reshav Pratap has won the 2022, 15th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest in Suva yesterday.

Pratap who is a Year 4 student at Gospel Primary School received a special Waku-doki award from Japan.

Pratap says he has an interest in drawing and painting and it took him 2 days to finish his art.

His mother says they are proud of Reshav’s achievement and encouraged other students and children to take part in such competitions so that their talents can be recognised and showcased locally and internationally.

During the presentation of the award, the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Education, Dr Anjeela Jokhan, says creativity is extremely important as it allows students to express themselves and motivates holistic development.
