Lautoka in action against Rewa in IDC 2020

Fresh Choice Lautoka soccer coach Ravinesh Kumar says mental toughness is very important for any sport and he feels it was something which was missing from his side for most of this year.

Lautoka qualified for the semifinal after their last pool match against Suva ended in a 1-1 draw.

Kumar says this is why they have been counseling the players during their training sessions to mentally prepare them for pressure situations in the Courts IDC.

He says the strategy was simple in their pool matches which was to absorb pressure and hit their opponents on the break.

Lautoka will play 4R Electrical Ba in the first semifinal at 3pm tomorrow while SSS Building (NZ) Labasa will play Lincoln Rewa in the second semi-final at 5pm.

The final is at 3pm Sunday.

You can catch the live commentaries of all the matches on our sister station, Radio Sargam.
