The CEO of Foundation for Rural Integrated Enterprises and Development or FRIEND Fiji, Sashi Kiran says there is a significant drop in barrier and territory and a lot of strong partnerships are being forged to counter the crises brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kiran says normally one would see barriers but they can witness strong mobilization to do whatever it takes to help the Ministry of Health to deal with the crises.

She says everybody who is a leader and is in their right mind are trying to help people get through this situation.

Meanwhile, Kiran says it is unfortunate to see mothers bringing their children to towns and people coming in large numbers for shopping and this is where many people are catching COVID-19. She says this has to be avoided.

Kiran is also urging people in the Western Division not to delay in getting the sick to the hospital.
