Akinisi Sorovakula will be hoping to make her family proud as she is expected to debut for the Fiji Kulas tomorrow.

Sorovakula, whose Father is from Ra, is from California, USA while her mother is from Nadi.

The 20-year-old who played for Beach FC in the US, says she started playing when she was 8 years old after getting inspired by her older sister.

She says her biggest challenge so far is getting used to the weather as it will be sunny first and then it will be raining.

Sorovakula says she is adjusting well to the team’s playing style and feels comfortable contributing to the team.

She is grateful for the opportunity and calls on Fiji fans to come out and show their support.

The Kulas will take on the Solomon Islands at 7pm at HFC Bank Stadium tomorrow.
