Tailevu half-back and uprising star Simione Kuruvoli is likely to start at halfback in the first Fiji Airways Flying Fijians test match against the All Blacks next Saturday.

Coach Vern Cotter says with the three Australian-based players still stuck in Australia due to the travel ban it is likely the 22-year-old will be playing a crucial part as a local-based player next week.

He says the squad has some local-based players who are very fit and fast and they will need to fit into the 15s game.

Frank Lomani, Mosese Sorovi and Teti Tela are still in Australia because the Trans-Tasman travel bubble was stopped.

The Flying Fijians will take on the All Blacks at 7.05pm next Saturday and 17th of July.
