Schools in the Northern Division will reopen today after the Ministry of Education had a consultation with the National Disaster Management Office.
They have advised students, teachers, parents and guardians that all schools in the Northern Division will be open except for Shri Guru Nanak Primary and Secondary School where only teachers will be reporting to school and students of these two schools will remain at home.
The Ministry is reminding teachers to play their part in providing the necessary support when students return to school.
