Fiji Water Flying Fijians winger Selestino Ravutaumada has been ruled out for the remainder of the Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup after undergoing a surgery last week on a shoulder injury described by coach Mick Byrne as an old injury that he has been playing with for sometime.

Byrne says Ravutaumada is being monitored at the moment after his surgery and will undergo rehabilitation for a full recovery.

Paris Olympic silver medalist Ponipate Loganimasi has been called into the Flying Fijians camp to cover for Ravutaumada in the backline.

Meanwhile, the team announcement will be held at 12pm today.

The Flying Fijians will take on the USA Eagles in the Pacific Nations Cup semi final at 10.05pm tomorrow.

In the other semi final, Samoa will take on Japan at 6.05pm Sunday.

Tonga will play Canada in the 5th place playoff at 7pm Saturday.

All games will be played at Prince Chichibu Memorial Rugby Stadium in Japan.
