QVS U18 thrashes St John’s College 69-7 in Eastern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby

2024 Vodafone Super Deans champions QVS has made a bold statement today after thrashing St John's College 69-7 in round 4 of the Vodafone Eastern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby competition that was held at Nasau Park.

This is their third win of the season after losing to rivals Ratu Kadavulevu School 35-13 in round 1 at Nukuvuto Grounds in Tailevu.

QVS had demolished Nakasi High School 40-3 in round 2, before edging Lelean Memorial School 12-0 last Saturday.

In another U18 match today, Tailevu North College thumped Nakasi High School 27-9 at Burebasaga Ground in Rewa.

Looking at other results of the Eastern Zone competition, QVS beat Lelean 10-5 in the U14 grade, Lelean Memorial School won by default against Noco Secondary School, and QVS defeated Lelean 19-17 in the U19 grade.

In the Weet-Bix Raluve competition, Lelean beat Levuka Public School 12-0 in the U16 grade, and Lelean defeated Muanaweni College 12-5 in the U18 grade
