Police officers have been directed to wear safety kits such as masks and gloves at all times.

Acting Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu reiterated the importance of these safety measures and has directed all Divisional Police Commanders to see that officers on the ground adhere to the instructions given.

Tudravu says this is not only for their benefit but for the nation as a whole.

He is also urging people to wear masks and gloves and keep following the safety measures issued by the Ministry of Health.

Tudravu adds people must remember that together we can fight against COVID-19.
